We offer library software training workshops and together with INFOhio offer professional development on the most critical education trends. Webinars are recorded so you can still earn contact hours for CEU credit any time that’s convenient for you. Our software handbook is available online along with the INFOhio and Curriculum Toolboxes which present resources by instructional shift or special instructional needs.
School library software does much more than circulate books; it assists librarians in helping classroom teachers improve test scores by showing what students are reading. In addition, it hones in on specific reading and Lexile levels so that the right resources go to the right learner at the right time. As a value-added service, our library software can be used to track textbooks, computers and other types of equipment.
Our iSearch Local tool gives teachers and/or students a "one stop research site" to find materials in their own school library as well as digital resources (including quizzes, primary sources and informational text) to support Ohio's Learning Standards. These resources help educators teach early learners, address the Third Grade Reading Guarantee as well as problem solving, critical thinking and research which are the skills students need to succeed beyond high school.
